Inside Look Of Hot and Sexy Priyamani

She may not come across as a very stunning angel of beauty but then there is a charisma about the way her eyes shine and the charm she spreads when she smiles. She is none other than the dusky actress Priyamani who is known for her buxom beauty but her acting prowess seems to be overshadowing her looks. Here are few excerpts about this talented girl:

Success story:

These days, Priyamani is having the cake and eating it too and this goes well with her as she has been bestowed with not one but two rare achievements in the form of the prestigious National Award for her role in the Tamil film 'Paruthiveeran' and again the Film Fare award for the same role and the same film. Speaking about it, she says that the credit goes to the director Ameer who entrusted his faith in her and she reciprocated by getting into the film even without reading the script. Priyamani now joins the league of legends like Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Shobhana and others and she happens to be the first heroine in Tamil to get this in a span of nearly 20 years.

Rise to stardom:

Priya has got a mixed upbringing and exposure of sorts since she originally hails from Bangalore and made her entry into the entertainment industry through the Malayalam flicks. However, her roles were highly negligible when it came to performance and things changed for her when she was spotted by Bharathiraja who roped her in for his 'Kangalil Kaithi Sai' which was her debut in Tamil. She caught the eye of many with her brilliant performance as a maid servant in her next venture 'Athu Oru Kanakalam' which was directed by Balu Mahendra but commercially these roles did not help her. So she ventured into the Telugu industry and there started the golden turn for her when she bagged two hits in the form of 'Pellaina Kothalo' and 'Yamadonga'. Her best time reached its peak when 'Paruthiveeran' happened and it was like a circle completed for her as she got back to Tamil. She tasted her real success when she got an award for the best actress at the Osian Cine Festival held in New Delhi for her performance and in no time she caught the eye of the biggies in the Centre who recommended her to light the lamp at the International Film Festival in Goa where she shared the stage with King Khan Shahrukh and from then on there was no turning back.

Best year of her life:

2007 is the most unforgettable year for Priyamani as she brushed shoulder with her favorite star Shahruk Khan, did a splendid job in 'Paruthiveeran'. Commercially, it was a successful time as her film 'Malaikottai' with hero Vishal was a hit and she changed from a rustic village belle to a sophisticated and glamorous doll followed by 'Thotta' where she proved her dancing and singing skills.

Next step:

Priyamani is now busy with proving a point that she is very much a versatile actress as she was earlier since there is a syndrome that is generated as soon as one becomes the National award winner. Priya wants to reiterate that she is open for commercial and glamorous roles and winning the National award has not changed her stand any bit, she wants to do different genres of films.

Unforgettable moment:

Priyamani got an SMS from the showman of the south Shankar congratulating her on her awards and suggesting a meeting when he gets back.

Love:

Along with success came her share of link-ups for Priyamani as she was rumored to be having an affair with hero Vishal during 'Malaikottai' and now her latest boyfriend is supposedly Raja. Speaking about it, the hot girl confirmed that she is single, not in love and loves being single. She added that Raja is a good friend and whenever she is in Hyderabad she goes to parties with him, for now her only love is her profession.
