Tarun starrer Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbai shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production works are in brisk progress. The latest update is the audio launch of the film has been scheduled on 24th February. Anoop Rubens has scored the music and the audio is being released through Aditya Music.

Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbai is being directed by Kanmani and is being jointly produced by Raju Hirwani and Gogineni Srinivas under Supreme Movies and Pranav Studios banners. The movie is touted as a romantic entertainer and Vimala Raman is playing Tarun’s love interest in the film.

Tarun's Yuddam Starts First Schedule

Tarun, Yami starrer Yuddam has wrapped up the first schedule of its filming. The second schedule is all set to begin from 5th February and will carry on till 28th of this month. Srihari is playing an important role in the film.

Tarun Movie In Final Schedule

Director Kanmani's upcoming Tarun and Vimala Raman starrer, produced by Supreme Raju Harwani and Gogineni Srinivas under the banner of Supreme Movies and presented by Pranav Studios, has begun its final schedule.

This romantic entertainer recently completed its previous schedule in Bangkok. The audio would be launched in November while the film would be released in December. Vimala Raman's bikini act is said to be the highlight of the film. Telugu Movie News

‘I Enjoy Playing a Lover Boy’ - Tarun

Just when everyone thought he had bid goodbye to films and found his calling in the food business, Tollywood's original lover boy Tarun came right back. And this time, he's sporting a brand new look to suit his glam role in V.N. Aditya's next film where he is paired opposite Vimla Raman. Telugu Movie News

Is this new avatar minus a moustache an attempt to resurrect his sagging career? "It's just a coincidence," he says, adding, "I have sported a moustache in all my movies so far. I recently shaved it off and all my friends liked it. luckily, it suits my role in this flick where I play a chilled out VJ who works for a Telugu channel abroad."
Tarun is quick to point out that he's not reached a dead end in his career yet. "I may not have had major hits to boast of in the recent past, but that doesn't mean my films were box office duds. In fact, my film Sashirekha Parinayam did well," he quips. Justifying the thanda roles he's been doing of late, Tarun says that the success of a film depends on the script. "no matter how choosy one is, the fate of a project just can't be predicted sometimes. When you listen to the script, it sounds alright, but the end result may not turn out that way. There are some movies which we think will do well at the box office, but they bomb. There are other films which are not expected to do all that well, but they go on to become blockbusters. It's all part of the game," he adds philosophically.

While he may have given us memorable hits like Nuvve Kavali and Nuvve Nuvve, variety clearly isn't Tarun's forte. And he blames his cliched
image in T'wood to these very hits. "It's not that I don't want to do different roles. These are the only scripts that are coming my way and I have to choose from what I get. I didn't consciously make an effort to work on my romantic hero tag. The roles I did in my initial films were such big hits that directors who make romcoms think of me first. The good part however, is that anyone between six and 60 can enjoy my movies, so I'm not complaining."

Becoming an entrepreneur and launching his own nightclub were dreams he always nurtured. Unfortunately, people read too much into it, he says, adding, "I didn't get into business because I lacked film offers. I am proud to have my own place to chill out at."

Tarun - Priyamani Wedding?

Just a few hours after Tollywood’s hot babe Priyamani denied rumours on her romantic link with actor Tarun, it is now heard that the actress has finally decided to marry Tarun, her Nava Vasanthan (2007) hero. Sources say that the marriage is likely to take place after they complete their ongoing assignments. The couple was often spotted getting cozy at many five star restaurants and Tarun recently gifted the actress an expensive luxury car.

Contradicting these reports, Priyamani earlier said: “Tarun and I had great fun during the shooting of Nava Vasantham, but we hardly met with each other after the shooting was completed. Then how could we be in love? Tarun, Ankita and I got along well on the sets. Tarun and I never met again on a personal level.”

Priyamani had also denied the rumours that Tarun gifted her a Toyoto Innova, saying, “Why do people malign actresses with cheap rumours? I bought the Innova in Hyderabad with my hard-earned money. No hero gifted it to me. It is my personal car.

Tarun Next Movie Sasirekha Parinayam Music Released

of Krishnavamsi’s much-awaited Sasirekha Parinayam was launched in a very formal and simple manner. At a simple media gathering, the audio albums were formally inaugurated by the film’s director, hero Tarun, and veteran lyricist Seetarama Shastry at The ceremony was held at Shabadalaya theatre on Thursday, December 04, 2008.

Lyricist Seetarama Shastry praised Krishnavamsi for making a film reflecting Telugu culture and ethos. “He is the only director in Telugu Cinema today who is capable of bring back the glory of golden age of Tollywood. I have seen the film and my confidence
on him has further enhanced. It is a beautiful film,” he praised. Shastry also asked Krishnavamsi to hold a special premiere show for the media before the release to which Krishnavamsi immediately agreed.

Tarun said he is thankful for Krishnavamsi for giving him such a beautiful character. “I have learnt a lot from him and this film,” he said. KV said the movie would be released on January 1st. Manisharma has provided the music.

This Movie Seems To Be Jab We Met Remake?

Tarun and Genelia are starring in Sasirekha Parinayam (working title) being directed by Krishnavamsi and produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali under Sri Kartikeya Entertainments banner. Krishnavamsi had already worked with Karthikeya Creations banner to give the super hit Khadgam.

The shooting is almost complete; some scenes at being shot at Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and surrounding areas. Vidyasagar scores music for the movie.

The film has been conceptualized as a comedy-cum-family entertainer and inside sources say that it is inspired by the Hindi super-hit romantic comedy Jab We Met. The makers have plans to release the film in time for the Dussera holidays.
