Successful Director Rajamouli Turns Anchor!

Most successful director Rajamouli turns anchor for HMTV. He is going to be anchor for ‘Come on India’ program in HMTV. The program will be screened from September 9.

Rajamouli tweeted; “Am anchoring a program called “come on India” making Bharat mahaan for HMTV. I think the airing is from sept. 9th. Pls watch and suggest.”

The program ‘Come on India’ shows the patriotic spirit and various extensions that explore various personalities in correlation with India.

Magadheera 175 Days Only in 3 Centers

Ram Charan Teja and Sensational director Rajamouli’s combo Magadheera which created waves at the box-office from the first day of release has now marched a long distance and completed 175 days in 3 centers. Magadheera 175 Days List - It completed 175 days in Adoni (Ceded), Gopala patnam (Vizag) and and PVR Cinema Banglore.

The film was released with highest number of prints in highest number screens and it had earlier seen 50 days at 302 centers and 100 days at 225 centers as all time Indian record.

Magadheera is the biggest blockbuster of south Indian cinema which has grossed about 110 crores.

Rajamouli To Concentrate On Small Budget Films

Successful director SS Rajamouli made his debut with ‘Student No. 1’ and earned good marks by making the film a hit. His next film, ‘Simhadri’ again with the same hero, was proved to be a blockbuster. From then onwards there is no looking back for him. He continued to bring out films which are hits successively and successfully. He had directed heroes like NTR, Prabhas, Raviteja and Ram Charan Teja. There was an impression among the industry circles as well as the audiences that a film with Rajamouli behind the camera would be a heavy budget movie. So, Rajamouli openly announced that he would concentrate more on doing small budget films from now on. However, he says, ‘I will do one heavy budget film and immediately a small film. Not only I direct small films but also produce such films on our own banner. If there are small budget films which turn successful, the industry would survive for long and everybody who were depending on the film industry would be happy. I started my career with a small budget movie, so I very well know the value of a small budget film.’
