Meher Ramesh "Power" With Ravi Teja

After directing the Tollywood’s highest budget film Shakti with Jr.NTR in the lead, Meher Ramesh is now gearing up to wield the megaphone for Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s film titled as Power.

Meher Ramesh, who faced criticism for Shakti is planning to bounce back with Power. Malla Vijaya Prasad, who has scored a hit with Allari Naresh’s Seema Tapakai is producing this film on Wellfare Creations banner. Vakkantham Vamsi is penning the story for the film.

Malla Vijaya Prasad informs that Power will be pictured stylishly with rich production values without any comprises on the budget. The regular shoot of Power will begin from March 2012 after Ravi Teja wraps up Idiot2 with Puri Jagannadh. The entire shoot of Power will be completed in a single schedule.

Mahesh as Jamesbond in Meher Ramesh Film

Super Star Krishna had created wonders in Tollywood by doing "James Bond" movies in Telugu like "Gudachari 116", James Bond 777 etc. Later he used the same James Bond concept in many films and tasted success with all those movies. Meher Ramesh To Direct Prabhas

Actor Prabhas has been going through a lean patch. All his recent films, including Puri Jagannath directed Bujjigadu from Chennai, bombed at the box office. He desperately needs a hit to stay in the tinsel town race.

According to sources, Prabhas is said to have accepted a proposal to act in a film directed by Meher Ramesh, who earlier made Kantri with NTR Jr. The film however will be a remake of the hit Tamil film Billa starring Ajith.

However, Billa itself is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s Don, which was earlier made in Telugu as Yugandhar starring the late NTR. The assumption is that Meher Ramesh’s Telugu adaptation of Billa or Don may have shades of Shah Rukh Khan’s Don directed by Farhan Akhtar.
