Puri Jagannath is almost done with his upcoming film Nenu Naa Rakshasi starring Ileana and Rana Daggubati. Once this film wraps up, Puri will move on to his next film for which he will direct Big B Amitabh Bachan.
Puri Jagannath narrated a story titled Budda in the past for Amitabh Bachan and the actor was very much impressed with the idea of Puri. After making plans for the launch, Amitabh fell ill and the project was pushed back. Now, Amitabh is alright and has given a green to Puri.
Budda will be produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Tabu will play the female lead in this film. Taapsee and Neha Sharma too have bagged key roles in Budda. So, this film will mark the Bollywood debut of Taapsee.
