Looks like Anushka, who has excelled in the female-centric flick Arundhati is all set to prove her potential with yet another powerful heroine-centric role, but this time with a historic film. Industry is at buzz that Anushka was approached by director Gunasekhar to don the role of Rani Rudramadevi and the actress has given her nod to the role.
As per sources, Anushka has given plenty full of diary dates to this film. While the rest of the details of the movie are kept under wraps, the film is touted to be made in both Telugu and Tamil versions with a whopping budget of 40 crores. Sounds interesting!
Well, let’s not come to conclusions folks, till the director makes an official statement.
