Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma’s Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalraju is gearing up for its release on 12th January.
Ram Gopal Varma has released the brochure of this film with few characters and their descriptions that has enough substance to create controversies. The brochure has shocked many, as the characters have close comparison to top celebrities related to Telugu Cinema.
Varma has adopted a new way of publicizing his films these days. Even before the film rolls on to floors, RGV creates some sort of controversies and grabs the media attention towards his film. Rakta Charitra, Bezawada Rowdeelu and now KSD Appalraju are the primary examples. Media exaggerates these controversial issues to a large extent and ultimately, Ramu is gaining free publicity for all his films.
But, will this negative publicity work in film’s success? Let’s wait and see.
