Anushka, who is undoubtedly the most sought after actress of South India, is finding it tough to adjust her dates between Tamil and Telugu films. As she is still among the hottest of Tollywood heroines, Anushka couldn’t grab all the Tamil films that are coming in her way.
Anushka left away many handsome offers due to the unavailability of dates. The recent film that she let go off her hands is Tamil flick Vettai(telugu Veta) starring Arya and Madhavan (Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Madhavan). Vettai is directed by Linguswami and Anushka was supposed to play the role opposite Arya.
As per the latest updates, Amala Paul has replaced Anushka in Vettai. Sameera Reddy is the other heroine in this film. It is believed that Linguswamy is planning to remake this film in Telugu with Mahesh and Madhavan in the lead. Veta is the title under consideration for the Telugu version.
