If you thought that it is only superstar Rajinikanth who demands a whopping price for a ticket of his film then read this. Even our own Super Star Mahesh Babu has got his own share of following and this was seen at the Prasads IMAX theatre when the advance booking opened.
Rushes of people were seen pushing each other to get the tickets. On the black market, the ticket was being sold at a price of Rs 3000 and there were those who were willing to take that. Recently, the same place saw a hardcore Rajini fan buying the ticket for Rs 5000.
Even the stand alone theatres have been reporting astronomical prices for the tickets and a Rs 50 ticket is being sold at nearly Rs 500. Given the craze that Mahesh Babu has got, this is quite likely and if the film turns out to be positive then things will get into a frenzy for sure.
