Karunakaran is back in news. Last year he delivered a surprise hit with new hero - Ullasanga Utsahanga. That made producers to queue up to him again. Grapevine has it that he has taken up a new film for producer M.S.Raju. He might introduce M.S.Raju’s son Sumanth. Teja was to direct Sumanth’s maiden film but it didn’t take place. In his place Karunakaran steps in.
