Telugu Singing Star In Guinness Book

These lines aptly fit in for Ghazal Srinivas without an iota of exaggeration. He made 'Ghazal' as his surname and as a universal truth whistles sound an echo when he sings ghazals, with the rhythm of kanjeera, from any dais.

Ghazal, the poetic form that took its genesis in Persia has spread its roots in Urdu and Telugu eventually. Dr C Narayana Reddy (C Na Re) and Dr Ghazal Srinivas are the pioneers to popularize ghazal form of poetry in Telugu. While C Na Re penned hundreds of ghazals and took them close to thousands of literary connoisseurs, Dr Ghazal Srinivas took the glory of ghazals to masses by singing for lakhs of crowds.

Now Gazal Srinivas has got his place in Guinness Book of World Records. He made a record by singing in 76 languages on the glory of Gandhism. Greatandhra.com congratulates Ghazal Srinivas on the occasion.
