After tasting success with Homam, JD Chakravarthi announced that a sequel to this film titled Marana Homam will be his next film. However, things seem to have not worked out properly to make the sequel.
According to reports, JD has decided to make a new film on the theme of encounters with extremists titled Moksham. In this film also Jagapathi Babu plays the protagonist as an encounter specialist. This film will be produced by Koneru Kiran Kumar.
