Veteran Tamil film director C.V Sridhar who died on Oct 20th was survived by wife, a son and a daughter. His body is kept at his residence in Chennai and the last rites will take place today. He penned for some famous movies in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. His super hit Telugu films are 'Preminchi Chudu', 'Manase Madhiram', 'Prema Sagaram' and many more.
Director C V Sridhar is the one who introduced actors like AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa. Former TN Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa started her film career with “Vennira Aadai” in 1965
He was widely known for his movies with the legendary actor Gemini Ganeshan.
