The year 2008 brought a unique development in Telugu film industry with the introduction of about thirty directors, who had worked with star captains like Dasari, Puri Jagannath, Rajamouli, Sekhar Kammula, EVV Satyanarayana and others. Some of the prominent figures set to make their entry are Mahadev, Dolly, Hanif, Saikiran Adivi, Murthy, Srikanth Addala, Anand, Ajay, Nagaraju, Vasu Varma, Venu Sriram, Siva, Kannan, Ravi Kiran, Srinu, Prakash, Sravan and others. Apart from these youngsters, six more are likely to be in this wave.
