Yeleti, who was on a mission to do a romantic celluloid entertainer with ChandraSekhar newcomers in the lead, has named Manchu Manoj Kumar as the hero for his film. After issuing advertisements, calling debutants for an audition and a subsequent selection process, he suddenly zeroed in on Manoj Kumar. Yeleti, who is not only directing the flick, but also producing it, said that though several people auditioned, he wasn't able to find a person who could play the role of the hero in his film. "I happened to meet Manoj at a private function recently.
After giving it a diligent thought, it flashed in my mind that Manoj would be the apt choice for my project. Accordingly, I held preliminary discussions with him and things got settled." The proposed movie is likely to be launched shortly. Currently, Manoj is busy with the last leg of the shoot of his latest film Nenu Meeku Telusa? The movie is being directed by debutant Ajay Sastry.
